Course Description:

 This course equips firefighters, emergency responders, and decision-makers with the knowledge and skills to utilize drones effectively in various firefighting and emergency scenarios. Participants will explore the benefits, techniques, and safety protocols associated with drone operations in wildfires, structure fires, hazmat situations, natural disasters, and search and rescue missions.

 Course Objectives:

 1. Understand the basic principles and regulations of drone usage in emergency response.

2. Explore drone applications in wildfire management, including real-time fire mapping and hotspot detection.

3. Learn how drones enhance safety and situational awareness in structure fires.

4. Apply drone technology in hazardous material (hazmat) scenarios for remote assessment.
