HTS Ag Service Plans

HTS Ag has been providing on-your-farm and phone support service plans for several years. The success of the program has been excellent with a majority of service plan customers not having any down time during the season. This has been further enhanced with the option of purchasing AgFiniti as a part of your service plan, allowing us to remotely view your display for troubleshooting purposes.

Service Plan Benefits
  • Ag Leader AgFiniti remote support license
    o Enables remote viewing of displays in field when requested for troubleshooting
    o User is responsible to purchase Ag Leader USB Wi-Fi adapter for each display enrolled in plan to utilize this service
    o User is responsible to provide Wi-Fi service to display
  • Troubleshooting Support
    o No charge for phone support, including after-hours phone support
    o 7am to 10pm Monday through Saturday, Noon to 6pm on Sunday
    o Free 2 week rental of service units while repairs are being made
    o $25 per hour discount on hourly service labor
  • Free admission to the HTS Ag customer training sessions
    o Customer is responsible for attending at least 1 training event per year
    o Unlimited attendance to events hosted throughout the year
We have three different types of service plans that you can choose from.

Our first plan is a Phone and Remote Support Only plan that would allow you to call us as many times as you need with questions or problems, even during our after-hours support times, for one flat fee. This would also allow us to remote into your display in field, when requested, for troubleshooting purposes as long as you have the AgFiniti Wi-Fi adapter and Wi-Fi Service to your display. You also would get a free 2 week rental of service unit, if needed, and a $25.00 per hour discount on hourly labor services as well as free admission to HTS Ag customer training sessions.

Our second plan is a 1 On-Site Visit per Year plan that would allow you all the benefits of the Phone and Remote Support Only plan and also a visit from an HTS Ag technician in your choice of either the spring or fall. As well as a 5% discount on all parts that the technician recommends for replacement, we would provide the following services, depending on what equipment you have and what season this once per year on-site visit takes place in:

SeedCommand / DirectCommand services:
  • Upgrade firmware in the display to the current released version
  • Upgrade firmware in the modules to the current released version
  • Verify the display is receiving the correct GPS input for desired operation
  • Download any remaining data and create backup of monitor to customer’s card
  • Physically check to ensure row clutch mechanism is turning.
  • Inspect all harnessing for damage and wear
  • Verify proper configuration for the operation
Harvest System services:
  • Upgrade firmware in the display monitor to the current released version
  • Upgrade firmware in the modules to the current released version
  • Physically check for wear on the moisture and flow sensors
  • Check the clearance in the clean grain elevator from the paddle to the deflector plate to ensure correct adjustment.
  • Download any remaining data and create backup of monitor to customer’s card
  • Inspect all harnessing for damage and wear
  • Verify proper configuration for the operation
Integrated Steering services:
  • Upgrade firmware in controller hardware
  • Upgrade firmware in GPS unit
  • Check system performance and fine-tune calibration if necessary
Assisted Steering services:
  • Upgrade firmware to the current released version
  • Check all connections and mounting equipment
  • Run system tests and fine tune calibration if necessary
Our third plan is the 2 On-Site Visits per Year plan that includes all the benefits of the Phone and Remote Support Only plan as well as the 1 On-Site Visit per Year plan except an HTS Ag technician would come out to your farm in both the spring and in the fall to check over your equipment.
