Microsoft to End Support for Windows 7

Microsoft has announced that they will no longer be supporting Windows 7 after January 14, 2020. What does end of support mean? Per Microsoft, if you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work, but it may become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Your PC will continue to start and run, but Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, software updates or security updates. This will leave all computers that are on Windows 7 vulnerable to virus/attack after that date. Click here for more information.

Customers that are currently have the Integris Pro system will need to check their bin machines to make sure they are on Windows 10. HTS Ag suggests that no computer that has Windows 7 be internet connected and running the Integris software after that January 14th date.

You can purchase the upgrade to Windows 10 for the PC. However, with the age of the machine, there is no guarantee for how long that PC will remain functional. The other option is to replace the PC. HTS Ag has sourced some PCs that fit all the specific specs needed by the Integris software. We have put together a package where we will set the computer up for your specifically with the Integris software downloaded, Teamviewer downloaded and running and a new ISO device that will hook into the 4-wire radio and system. We will have this ready to go in office and ship to you so all you will have to do is plug the computer in and off you go.

Give HTS Ag a call today if you would like to get this PC replacement ordered and installed before harvest starts. If replaced mid-season, historical data to the date of the replacement will be lost. If you have any questions or would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. | Like us on Facebook | Follow us on Twitter!
