Job Purpose/Summary:

As an HTS Ag Technology Advisor, you'll be reaching out to both new and existing customers, building relationships, and working together to meet producer's goals. You'll also play a key part in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing support and installation for our products. Your efforts will not only boost customer satisfaction but also help create lasting partnerships.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Focus on sales activities of all HTS Ag solutions and services
  • Provide support on ag products, including customer service, installations, phone support and training
  • Focus on companywide marketing activities of all products and services HTS Ag markets to entire geographic region
  • Work with Territory Mgr. and other sales staff to achieve sales goals
  • Complete all required reports and forms in a timely manner and as required by management
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date customer list with detailed account information in Odoo
  • Ensure all company transactions are conducted in an ethical and prudent manner
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and seminars.  Read trade publications to enhance professional knowledge
  • Present quotes with delivery time approved by the HTS Ag policy
  • Ensure timely and accurate returns of misquoted, mis ordered or incorrectly shipped product
  • Assist in collection of accounts receivables
  • Attend all required staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Must Have

High School diploma. (or equivalent)

Strong customer service skills.

Proficiency of MS Office and Outlook applications.

Proven background in Ag Sales.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change and deliver results on time. 

Required Qualifications/Skills:


  • High School diploma or equivalent; or 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior agricultural experience required; Precision Agriculture preferred
  • Solid customer service abilities including telephone, email and computer/CRM skills; demonstrated proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office Suite
  • Experience with computer related functions in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, database, internet and accounting
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenge of helping people
  • Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client orientated team
  • Must be able to work with a variety of personalities
  • Superior communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people, and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities; delivers on multiple projects and events simultaneously
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; work well in group problem solving situations
  • Ability to make professional and effective presentations to individuals and groups
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality

  • Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision

  • Must possess a valid US Driver’s license & good driving record
